We neither condone nor support the breeding of albino Dobermans as this color is the result of a genetic mutation with known negative physical consequences.

What Boss taught me about life with a Doberman,  BJ taught me about showing them.  I met BJ in December of 1981 when she was 11 months old and I just thought she was the most elegant, showy animal I had ever seen.  She was really a tomboy at heart.  BJ was sired by Ch Tiffany’s Spartacus out of Bewins Craklin Rosie v Linbar and was bred by Barry and Linda Yessner. BJ’s pedigree in PDF format can be found he re.

But BJ’s real theme song was “Maneater” by Hall and Oates.  She was a true rock and roll fan, with a little jazz and rhythm and blues thrown in.   I lost BJ to bloat when she was just 7 years old.  It seems as though memorable points in my life with BJ were defined by specific dog show weekend, and this is no exception. BJ died the day after the Atlantic City show in 1988.  Although I had brought home two bitches as stud puppies from different litters shortly after losing BJ, my heart was not into owning another Doberman bitch until 1999, and though each of these two stud puppies were exceptional, they were placed where they could be better appreciated.
